city of ember

the city of ember is a really cool story. For the last term we have been reading the book and now we have only e movie just watched the movie. i found that the book was better because in the movie there were alot of things that ruined it like the giant mole and stuff. over all i thought they were both pretty good 

Lakes High school

yesterday we had a really fun day at lakes high school in rotorua.
Thank you to all the people who organized  it. we had a lot of fun.
in cooking we made a  mold for chocolate and made some chocolates and we made little boxes to put the chocolates in.
the funest thing i thought was pe because we had a game of pirates. its when you run around the hall but we had to stay on the line and there were obstacles that we had to jump over and crawl under and swing off the bars with the rops and stuff. it was pretty cool because i won one of the rounds. science was pretty cool because we put these different types of things on the end of the wire and it made different types of coloures inside of the fire.

overall i had a really cool day  

speech finals

Congratulashons to all the people who got into the speech finals for mokoia intermediete and good luck to them aswell. They were all really good speeches. The one I personally liked was my friends Finns. His speech was on why he hates cockroachs. He got into the finals which i thought was really cool and he did to.  

deven intermeidete sports exchange

This week we had deven intermeidete come up from new plymouth for a sports exchange.

The sports we played was rugby netball B team and netball A team , basketball, soccer boys and soccer girls. the netball girls one there game 28/12 and 39/8, basketball won 68/26 and the boys soccer won 2/1 and the girls one 1/0 and the rugby lost 68/23.
They were all really good games and they never gave up. The rugby was probley the hardest because they had a couple of really big kids.

storm breaker

Storm breaker book vs movie

This term our class read the book storm breaker and then we watched the movie after the we finished the book. The movie was a lot more existing then the book.

The book was a lot different  to the movie like the bit were there on the motorbikes in the books its a lot more into the movie when there on the motorbikes.

I think that the movie was a lot better because it was a lot more existing then the book and a lot different in some parts of the book. In the book it’s a little bit  slow to get into the hole action bit of the book.

The book is cool but it gets better when you get further and further into it and the ending is different I don’t really want to give to much away

The caricturs are really cool in the movie. There is alex rider the main person then there’s herid sail otherwise known as sail he owns sail enterprises. There’s  alex uncle Elian rider and the waiter called jack (shes a girl).

 Over all I think that they were both really good but the movie I thought was better because it has more of a story line and more action in it.
